About Us:

Our founder, Angela Wilson, discovered power yoga in 1998 when she was 22 years old and grieving the loss of her close cousin, Danielle. Yoga quickly became her therapy and she realized the more she showed up, the stronger she got both physically AND mentally. As she started to heal, she knew she had to share this practice with as many people as possible. Sol Yoga Studio opened its doors in 2011 and hasn’t stopped sharing the love for yoga ever since.

Taking everything she’s learned from her yoga journey, she’s bottled it all up into one place. At Sol, our mission is to help clients feel less stressed and more empowered through the practice of yoga. We offer our students an invitation to step out of the chaos and onto their mats for a kick-ass flow that helps them release the tension in the mind and in the body. Sol’s classes are challenging and designed to help clients make the most of their time on the mat. Always rooted in power vinyasa, they’re as much a work-out as a work-in, and will leave participants feeling lighter, happier, and stronger.

Here are some of the classes you'll find in our studio. All levels welcome.

Power Flow: A moving meditation with lots of vinyasas to help build heat, elevate the heart rate and to challenge you physically & mentally so you can show up strong in every aspect of life. Expect to feel amazing after class.

Yoga Sculpt: A unique combination of power yoga and strength training designed to create a full-body workout. Combining traditional yoga poses and principles with strength training and hand weights, this high-intensity workout will leave you feeling stronger, refreshed and uplifted.

Yoga HIIT: The perfect blend of yoga and movement to get your heart pumping and energy going so you’re ready to tackle the rest of the day. Expect 7-10 minutes of yoga at the beginning and end of class with lots of low impact, high intensity fun in between. If you love to smile, sweat and work hard, this class is for you!

Yoga & Boxing:  Starting with a vinyasa warm up, we'll move into learning and throwing the 4 standard punches in boxing, with or without light weights. Jab, cross, upper cut and hook are the movements you can expect from this energizing class. Upon completion, you'll feel less stressed and more empowered!

Yoga & Core  Starting with a vinyasa warm up, we'll move into core work, alot of it. Why? Because when you strengthen the powerhouse of the body, everything else is better. Leave class feeling energized and strong!

Vinyasa Flow:
Linking breath to movement for a more fluid sequence with a chance to explore deeper. Expect to hold poses a little longer but know you will feel energized when finished!

Meditation: Learn how to focus on the breath, not the chatter.
